What to Expect from a Telehealth Visit
Dr. Burke uses a secure, HIPAA compliant video conferencing service for all telehealth services.
Patients are sent a link for their visit prior to their appointment time. It’s simple and easy to create an account to access telehealth services.
You will need access to a laptop or smart phone with a webcam and microphone as well as a strong wifi signal or connection via ethernet directly to your Internet source.
Follow up visits are scheduled for 30 minutes, although a visit doesn’t always take the entire allotted time. Telehealth visits can be billed to your insurance just like a typical in-person visit.
